How to install Hortonworks Hive ODBC Driver on ubuntu 16.04?

The Hortonworks Hive ODBC Driver depends on the following resources:

cyrus- sasl- 2.1.22- 7 or above, cyrus- sasl- gssapi- 2.1.22- 7 or above, cyrus- sasl- plain- 2.1.22- 7 or above

But I am unable to download the following resources on ubuntu 16.04.

Is it necessary required all these resources or we can use basic authentication(username and password).

Go to https://hortonworks.com/downloads/ on the left hand side menus click on HDP Add-Ons, download the appropriate ODBC driver, install & configure the odbc.ini attached a sample file for your reference which connects to hive via knox, the documentation for each of the properties is also available in the same weblink on the top.
