How to log HUE Interactive python shell?

How to log HUE Interactive python shell?

New Contributor
I wrote a script that sets multiple environment variables, and then opens a HUE interactive python shell. Using the subprocess module I call this Bash command and it opens up my interactive shell no problem:

./build/env/bin/hue shell

or

subprocess.call(["./build/env/bin/hue", "shell"])

That command is shown at the bottom of the Cloudera/Hue shell commands page.

However I need to log or record all commands entered in that shell (and std out). Is there a way to log this newly opened shell?

Also I cannot use the Bash script command to make a typescript file
