How to read edit_inprogress log file ?

edits_inprogress files can not be converted to read unless it is completed.

You can use HDFS Offline Edits Viewer to view edit logs

Example:

hdfs oev -i edits_0000000000000005667-0000000000000005668 -o /tmp/edits_.xml
