What is the default username/password for HUE web/graphical user interface?

Hey there,

If you installed Hue via CM, it will be admin/admin. Otherwise, Hue will ask you to choose a login and password to be your root user.

The default password of Hue website in Hadoop VM is:

username: cloudera

password: cloudera

cloudera/cloudera worked for me, as of Sep 30, 2019.

Hi Steve,
By default the first user that logs into Hue becomes the first admin user.
So, feel free to pick them as per your liking.

Hi folks,

I've installed an instance of CDH on Azure using the provided Azure Resource Manager template (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/azure/azure-quickstart-templates/master/cloudera-on-centos/azurede... Everything seems to be working OK so far, the first problem i've hit is that I can't login to Hue. 

The comment above says "By default the first user that logs into Hue becomes the first admin user" but how do i login? What are the default credentials? I have no idea. Anyone know (or know how i can find out)?

Would it be possible to set people who are members of a Active Directory group as super user? i want this to be automated when users login. In enterprise versions that are on AWS emr it is a vulnerabiltiy that the first user is the superuser.
