Impala - Yarn integration causing job failure

Hi,

 
  I have added Impala Llama ApplicationMaster into Impala Service and configured Impala to use YARN ResourceManager, by mapreduce.framework.name=yarn, yarn.nodemanager.linux-container-executor.resources-handler.class=true, yarn.nodemanager.container-executor.class=true, Enable Cgroup-based Resource Management = Ture (for all hosts)
 
  But after this config, jobs on yarns are failing with 
 
  
Can't create directory /yarn/nm/usercache/abc/appcache/application-*
 
Anyone have seen this ? any suggestion how to correct this ?

Hello Roy:

I see that

 

Can't create directory /yarn/nm/usercache/abc/appcache/application-*

 

 

your username is “abc”,right ?

 

you can delete dir "/yarn/nm/usercache/*",means delete all users cache directory.

 

NM will create the cache dir with right permission.
