Impala - Yarn integration causing job failure

Rising Star

I have added Impala Llama ApplicationMaster into Impala Service and configured Impala to use YARN ResourceManager, by, yarn.nodemanager.linux-container-executor.resources-handler.class=true, yarn.nodemanager.container-executor.class=true, Enable Cgroup-based Resource Management = Ture (for all hosts)
But after this config, jobs on yarns are failing with
Can't create directory /yarn/nm/usercache/abc/appcache/application-*
Anyone have seen this ? any suggestion how to correct this ?

Hello Roy:

I see that

Can't create directory /yarn/nm/usercache/abc/appcache/application-*

your username is “abc”,right ?

you can delete dir "/yarn/nm/usercache/*",means delete all users cache directory.

NM will create the cache dir with right permission.

good luck to you~
