In CDP Private Cloud Base, will the Replication Manager supports bidirectional (two-way) replication for Hive?

I have 2 cluster say A,B. Data is injecting to A & Replication is enabled from A to B.
If A is down and data injection is started to B.  A came up after some hours.
Is it possible to transfer only the delta data & future data from B to A using the cloudera replication manager?

Hello @rahuledavalath

In this case, you must create a replication policy on both the source and target. Also, Incremental data from BDR will be copied back to prod once your actual prod is up again

Once the active site has up again ,whether Replication manager has the feature to replicate only the incremental data from DR site to Active? If there were update in the DR site will it also handle here

Hello @rahuledavalath

Yes only the incremental data will be copied

Yes bi-direction will only work if you set the replication policy on both the source and target
