It is possible to make Pheonix down or disable while keeping Hbase running or if i have to make Phoenix down, Hbase has to be down?
Earliest answer will be much appreciable.
Thanks in Advance.

You can turn off Phoenix Query Server if you aren't using it, but I can't see there being too many resource issues. Phoenix is awesome.

In general, no. If you have a specific concern, please clarify your question.

Muni, yes you can shut down phoenix while HBase will still be running.
On other note, as Tim mentioned below, Pheonix is really good and doesn't consume much resources, try exploring it.
