Is it possible to trigger Jira out of a Zeppelin notebook?

I searched through the zeppelin documentation but nothing caught my eye. Does anybody know if it's possible?

You might be able to write your own interpretor to do this, but I don't think there is an out of the box way of doing it. Certainly as you can run code you could write a snippet to use rest to talk to jira.
