Problem: We had opened our firewall to the old IP address for smartsense.hortonworks.com and it seems the IP has changed in the last couple weeks. Because of this our firewall is blocking the connection attempt now and we cannot upload bundles using the smartsense gateway. Can you please provide an IP range that we can open in our firewall so that if the IP changes we will still be able to connect?

@Cassandra I think you're asking how to specify IP ranges in firewall rules? If so, here's a way http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/linux-iptables-how-to-specify-a-range-of-ip-addresses-or-ports.html

Partly what I'm asking. I think the customer knows how to specify IP ranges, he's wanting a range for what Smartsense uses just in case Hortonworks makes a change to the IP address for Smartsense then he already has it in his firewall rules.

@Paul Codding is there a range of IP addresses used for Smartsense?
