New Contributor

The Error Info as follows:

The codes are as follows:

1. hbase-server/src/main/java/org/apache/hadoop/hbase/client/VersionInfoUtil.java

108251-1556172401573.png

2. hbase-server/src/main/jamon/org/apache/hadoop/hbase/tmpl/master/RegionServerListTmpl.jamon

108261-1556172500912.png

3. hbase-server/src/main/resources/hbase-webapps/master/rsgroup.jsp

108212-1556172882952.png

I just modify the value of "if statement" left side as follows:

RegionServerListTmpl.jamon

<%java>

int totalRegions = 0;

int totalRequestsPerSecond = 0;

int inconsistentNodeNum = 0;

String masterVersion = VersionInfo.getVersion();

String[] apacheVersions = masterVersion.split("[\.-]");

if(apacheVersions.length > 3){

masterVersion = apacheVersions[0]+"."+apacheVersions[1]+"."+apacheVersions[2];

}

for (ServerName serverName: serverNames) {

...

rsgroup.jsp

<% int totalRegions = 0;

int totalRequests = 0;

int inconsistentNodeNum = 0;

String masterVersion = VersionInfo.getVersion();

String[] apacheVersions = masterVersion.split("[\.-]");

if(apacheVersions.length > 3){

masterVersion = apacheVersions[0]+"."+apacheVersions[1]+"."+apacheVersions[2];

}

for (Address server: rsGroupServers) {

...

Re: Issue with HBase UI: the version info of RegionServer Error

This is not an error that will cause any kind of problem with your system. RegionServers are known to be reporting the wrong version string. They should give the appropriate HDP-suffixed version string, but do not.
