Minimum Ram?

I'm looking to build out a 4 to 5 node cluster for training purposes only. Minimum data. HDFS, Cloudera Manager and I'm not sure what else. What's the least resource/memory eating addon?

I have two desktops with 8gb of ram each. Thinking about splitting two VMS on each desktop.  Then using my laptop that has 16gb of ram for the 5th VM.

Which node would need the most memory? Where Cloudera Manager will be installed?  I realized this isn't a lot of RAM - Anyone think it's doable?

Problem with using FREE AWS servers is they don't have enough resource either.

Any advice is appreciated.
