Newbie question: How to get to HDP tool bar?

This is an extreme "newbie" question, but I am trying to do the HCatalog / Hive / Pig tutorial

http://hortonworks.com/hadoop-tutorial/how-to-use-hcatalog-basic-pig-hive-commands/

and I can't figure out how to get to the HDP toolbar! I can browse HDFS fine (using http:<ip_addr>:50070/explorer.html#/) but I don't see the toolbar there.

I think you are looking for Hue web UI. Once sandbox VM is started open the below in your browser (user/pass is hue/1111)

http://<ipaddress>:8000

Ambair Webui is available at below address (user/pass is admin/admin)

http://<ipaddress>:8080

You may also look at using Ambari Views (example is in the 2.3.2 sandbox). There are views for both Pig and Hive.

Thanks- this is exactly what I needed.

I had worked with Hive before on other Hadoop implementations, but only from the command prompt.
