Hi,

Did someone install a Nifi in a standalone mode, without Ambari, in an HDP?

Thanks

You can follow the command line base install procedures for NiFi to install a standalone (non-ambari managed) NiFi on servers already being managed by a HDP ambari.

https://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDF2/HDF-2.1.4/bk_command-line-installation/content/ch_HDF...

With the just released HDF 3.0.0, you now have the ability to install and manage both HDP and HDF services using the same Ambari installation. Specific Ambari, HDP, and HDF versions are required to support this new capability.

https://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDF3/HDF-3.0.0/index.html

Thanks,

Matt

Hello @Farhad Heybati, While installing NIFI on just one node in a 4-node HDP cluster, will it still be seen as stand-alone installation or it can still be installed in client-server mode. Also, NIFI Certificate authority is also deployed.

Thanks
