Prior to deleting oozie you must delete the following dependent services

1) When I am deleting the oozie service from one node on HDP 2.4 it is throwing an error. Saying that Prior to deleting oozie you must delete the following dependent services (Service is falcon).

This is correct. Falcon uses Oozie for job scheduling.

If you delete Oozie, falcon will get broken --> You need to remove Falcon first and then Oozie.

Please note - If you have any jobs scheduled from Falcon, please make sure that you have taken care of the backup plan before going ahead with service deletion.

If I am moving Oozie server from one node to another node, do I need to move the Falcon also to the same node.

@shyam gurram - If you are not using Falcon. Just remove it. You can always install it later
