Problem with CompositeGroupMapping

New Contributor

Hello

I am managing a CDH 6.2 Cluster with Cloudera Manager.
I was implementing a Composite Group Mapping with:

  • ShellBasedUnixGroupsMapping
  • LdapGroupsMapping

The configuration is as follows:

hadoop.security.group.mapping org.apache.hadoop.security.CompositeGroupsMapping

hadoop.security.group.mapping.providers shellprovider, adprovider

hadoop.security.group.mapping.providers.combined true

hadoop.security.group.mapping.provider.shellprovider
   org.apache.hadoop.security.ShellBasedUnixGroupsMapping

hadoop.security.group.mapping.provider.adprovider
   org.apache.hadoop.security.LdapGroupsMapping

hadoop.security.group.mapping.provider.adprovider.ldap.url server

hadoop.security.group.mapping.provider.adprovider.ldap.bind.user user . . .

hadoop.security.group.mapping.provider.adprovider.ldap.bind.password ****

hadoop.security.group.mapping.provider.ad4usersX.ldap.base DC=. . .

But when I run the command

hdfs groups

I get the following error:

ERROR security.CompositeGroupsMapping: The mapping provider, adprovider does not have a valid class

What could be the reason for the failure?
