Quickest way to upgrade HUE on QuickStarts for CDH 5.13 VM

Hello,

I am just started to play with CDH and I really love the VM with QuickStarts for CDH 5.13 since everything is ready download. However, I noticed that some components are out of date and I woud like to test external import feature from HUE. Could I ask you to provide the quickest way to upgrade the HUE on QuickStarts for CDH 5.13 VM to the newest version?

Unfortunately, there is no way to independently upgrade Cloudera Hue within the VM.  You would need to upgrade all of CDH 5.13 to the version that you require e.g. CDH 6.3.

As far as I am aware there are no plans to provide new releases of the QuickStarts based on later versions of CDH. That said it is quite straightforward to install a trial proof-of-concept CDH cluster (for example you could do this on a single node using cloud-based infrastructure):
