Rnger syncing with centos groups

Hi,

I have created two groups on different nodes of my cluster which have no users attached on them.

My ranger use the the users from unix system to be synces. I just restarted the user sync service but when I log in to ranger my groups are not comming up?

Do I need to restarted completely ranger to sync users from unix?

Hi Luke,

By default, it syncs the users/groups from the Unix files of the node where UserSync is running.

Once you have created the group, try adding a user to it and then check if the group appears in Ranger UI.

Please let me know if this works.
