Sandbox First Time Login : Cannot Type in Password

1) Started Hortonworks service from VirtualBox.

2) Click Alt + F5

3) Type, Sandbox Login : root

4) Not able to type anything in "Password :"

Basically stuck in this step, because cannot type anything.

Also tried Shell web client method. Same problem.

Anyone had faced such problem? Please advice. Thank You.

The password entry doesn't echo on the screen, it hides the user input. Can you please confirm are u entering the correct password and pressing enter. What happens if u press enter without entering anything.

Hi Milind, yes. when enter password it wont be visible in the screen. Just need to make sure entering correct password, and click enter.

@milind pandit i didn't make any password for the sandbox .then which password i should enter?? help me please.!
