Status Check for all Services running in CM on CLI

Status Check for all Services running in CM on CLI

New Contributor

Hi All,

Checking if I can find a solution/automated script to understand whether we can get a status report at start of the day for all the services running in our Cloudera Cluster.

Hello @Ansar,

You can use the CM API to get the service's state as below:

http(s)://<cm-server>:<port>/api/v7/clusters/{clusterName}/services

Then, you can search for "serviceState" & "healthSummary" to get the service status (STARTED or STOPPED) & health status (GOOD or BAD).

The detailed document is here:
http://cloudera.github.io/cm_api/apidocs/v7/path__clusters_-clusterName-_services.html
