I have downloaded the Hortonworks sandbox and it is running in VMware. Two problems
1. The website address it indicates to get started is not working
2. What is the login and pwd for the HDP 2.3 sandbox?

@Aniruddha Joshi The setup does not look right.
root/hadoop is the login credentials.
See this demo
Shutdown all vms in your laptop, delete Hortonworks vm and reimport the image

@Aniruddha Joshi There is a chance that you have configured the static IP at the vm level and it's getting 101 address from there.
You can download ova and try with ova

@Aniruddha Joshi http://192.168.110.131:8080 is ambari url
1) ambari-server start if its not up
2) http://192.168.110.131:8080 , if ambari server up and you are not able to access the url then we have to check port forwarding

@Aniruddha Joshi for the 2.3 sandbox you will create the login and password when you first login. In your case it is root/hadoop. Try this in the CLI and post any errors. Also try logging into Ambari. Naviagate in your browser to http://192.168.56.101:8080 and login with admin/admin

I clicked the Quick Links box under Advanced HDP and found that the username and password were both 'raj_ops'.
