Unable to start Hive-server2 with ranger-hive plugin enabled

Getting the below error while trying to start Hive-server2 with ranger-hive plugin enabled.

Tried updating SAME password for admin-password and ranger-admin-password from both the Ranger UI as well as from the Ambari UI but no luck...

Name Node is working in HA Mode and Ranger Admin start normal and able to view the UI of ranger.

opened 6080 and able to login in ranger. But no luck with HIVE metastore and Server2

This seems to be caused by Ambari script not being able to talk to Ranger. Can you check the external URL defined in Ranger config?

Actually the problem is it is not creating 'ambari-qa' user in Ranger at the time of installation resulting in this error.

And this is happening for HDP 3 version.

i have same problem but with this error

this eror happen when hive plugin on ranger is enabled

try to disable it and all work fine
