Unable to start atlas metadata server

Hi,

I am unable to start the atlas metadata server service on HDP(3.1) cluster using the Ambari UI (2.7.3).

Below are the logs for your reference.

Hi,

 

Atlas startup process is trying to access hbase shell and getting failed

 

- Could you please check whether Hbase Master and all RegionServers are up and running

- Try to access hbase shell from cli

- Make sure you have required permissions set in ranger as per below document

@VBo , Could you please let us know if you were able to start the Atlas Metadata server ? .

 

If not, please provide us application.log, operation logs to check further.
