@Rajendra Manjunath

You are getting the error because of the following Cause:

Caused by: java.io.IOException: No FileSystem for scheme: webhdfs
    at org.apache.hadoop.fs.FileSystem.getFileSystemClass(FileSystem.java:2644)
    at org.apache.hadoop.fs.FileSystem.createFileSystem(FileSystem.java:2651)
    at org.apache.hadoop.fs.FileSystem.access$200(FileSystem.java:92)

.

So please check if you have the following property "dfs.webhdfs.enabled" set to "true" or not in your hdfs-site.xml?

    <property>
      <name>dfs.webhdfs.enabled</name>
      <value>false</value>
      <final>true</final>
    </property>

Also can you please check if the "webhdfs" is working fine at your end or not?

Syntax:

curl  "http://$NAMENODE_HOSTNAME:50070/webhdfs/v1/user?op=LISTSTATUS"

Example:

curl  "http://erie1.example.com:50070/webhdfs/v1/user?op=LISTSTATUS"

.

Also please let us know which version of ambari are you using.

@Rajendra Manjunath

Can you give details of the cluster like

HDP version ?

Kerberized or NOT?

Sandbox or bare metal?

Can you assure that HDFS is started in Ambari UI and

HDFS -->Configs-->Advanced -->WebHDFS

enabled

What values do you have

HDFS -->Configs-->Advanced --> Advanced core-site

 fs.defaultFS

What values do you have for the below it should be *

HDFS -->Configs-->Advanced -->Custom core-site

hadoop.proxyuser.hdfs.groups
hadoop.proxyuser.hdfs.hosts

What values do you have in

HDFS -->Configs-->Advanced --> Custom core-site and filter hadoop.proxyuser.ambari-server

hadoop.proxyuser.ambari-server-xxxx.groups
hadoop.proxyuser.ambari-server-xxxx.hosts

Please let me know

@Rajendra Manjunath

Can you chnage this value

hadoop.proxyuser.ambari-server.hosts={Ambari-server FQDN}

If this is not a production cluster can you Stop All and Start All
