Want to upgrade my cloudera version from 5.6.0 to 5.7.0

Want to upgrade my cloudera version from 5.6.0 to 5.7.0

Hi

 

I am using Cloudera 5.6.0 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS  . i want to upgrade to 5.7.0 .

but when i  go for upgrade  using cloudera Manager WebUI in  "cluster- > Upgrade Cluster ". then it show no upgrade is available .

 

How can i upgrade to 5.7.0 ?

Here you can see that those packages are in the Trusty reprository:

 

https://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/ubuntu/trusty/amd64/cm/pool/contrib/e/enterprise/

http://archive.cloudera.com/cdh5/ubuntu/trusty/amd64/cdh/pool/contrib/h/hadoop/

 

Finally, did you manage to upgrade your system?

Prateek,

 

What version of Cloudera Manager are you running?   Click on SUPPORT > ABOUT  top right hand corner.

 

Your CM version needs to be equal or higher than the CDH version you are trying to upgrade to.  This might be the reason you cannot see CDH5.7.0.
