What is Apache falcon?

Please explain the Apache falcon in details.

Apache Falcon is used for Replicating HDFS Data and Hive tables from one cluster to another.

You can use it for setting up Production <-> Disaster Recovery setup for your cluster.

More info can be found at the official documentation site.

As of June 2019, Apache Falcon project has moved into Apache Attic project.
