Thanks Deepesh, but documentation does not say its compatibility with Windows Server 2012. Do we know if it (Hive ODBC Driver for HDP 2.2 (v2.0)) is compatible with Windows Server 2012?

We tested this formally with Windows 2008. For HDP 2.3 ODBC driver we tested with Windows 2012 with limited testing on Windows 8. Its very likely that the ODBC driver for HDP 2.2 is compatible with Windows 8 as well.

ODBC Driver v2.0.5 (released with HDP 2.3) is tested and compatible with Windows 2012 and also backward compatible with HDP 2.2. The driver supports Hive 0.11, 0.12, 0.13, 0.14, 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2.
