Hi,
Do we know what is the most popular flavor and version of Linux for HDP clusters (2.3) with latest patch ? I guess it would be RHEL 7, but any official information would be helpful.

@sraghavan. RHEL 7 is the one I've seen most in the wild but it ultimately depends on what in-house skills you have. Go with what your company is best at and is supported by HDP.

@sraghavan It will be very difficult to give you "official word"
I have seen more RHEL 7 than any other. 2nd one is centos and then ubuntu

I'd say RHEL6 been used the most with the last three or four releases of HDP.
