YARN fair scheduler showing negative vcore and not preempting (YARN-6175?)

New Contributor

I'm seeing lines like this (CDH 5.10.0)

2017-06-12 21:52:12,937 INFO org.apache.hadoop.yarn.server.resourcemanager.scheduler.fair.FairScheduler: Should preempt <memory:28672, vCores:-8> res for queue root.production.scheduled_jobs: resDueToMinShare = <memory:0, vCores:0>, resDueToFairShare = <memory:28672, vCores:-8>

Note the negative number for vCores.  Is this a manifestation of YARN-6175, which I see was not part of CDH 5.10.0?

Thanks, Aaron

I see that CDH 5.10.1 includes YARN-6175, so I'll assume this is an instance of that error.
