Yum error: File contains no section headers

Yum error: File contains no section headers

New Contributor

Hi All

I'm new to Cloudera. Trying to get to grips with the technology by doing a manual install. This is what I get when I try to run yum

[hduser@master yum.repos.d]$ sudo yum clean all
[sudo] password for hduser:
Loaded plugins: langpacks

File contains no section headers.
file: file:///etc/yum.repos.d/Cloudera-Sources.repo, line: 3
"name=Cloudera's Distribution for Hadoop, Version 5\n"
[hduser@master yum.repos.d]$

This my repo config

[hduser@master yum.repos.d]$ cat Cloudera-Sources.repo
#cloudera-source
# Packages for Cloudera's Distribution for Hadoop, Version 5, on RedHat or CentOS 7 x86_64
name=Cloudera's Distribution for Hadoop, Version 5
baseurl=https://archive.cloudera.com/cdh5/redhat/7/x86_64/cdh/5/
gpgkey =https://archive.cloudera.com/cdh5/redhat/7/x86_64/cdh/RPM-GPG-KEY-cloudera
gpgcheck = 1

Your assistance would be highly appreciated

Thkx

Hi,

Instructions on yum repo installation can be found here [1]. You can get the repo file for example for RHEL 7 from here for example [2].
