Hi All,
We have installed Cloudera manager 7.7.1 on RedHat 8. During the configuration steps under "Add Private Cloud Base Cluster - Install Agents" installation is failing with the message Failed to authenticate. The same message is in the details page. From the OS level, we are able to do this successful login using ssh with the passphrase to the target hosts. But the Cloudera manager consoles not able to authenticate even though the private key file is provided.
As the scenario is working from the OS level, we doubt some issues from the Cloudera side .Kindly suggest.
Regards
Jiji

Hi,
-> Can you check user has sudo/root permissions on these hosts?
-> Can you do agent hard restart on these hosts and try?
-> recheck private key is valid and correct one.

Thanks for your response .Kindly find the below comments
-> Can you check user has sudo/root permissions on these hosts? --> Sudo is working fine and permissions looks ok
-> Can you do agent hard restart on these hosts and try? --> Rebooted the box
-> recheck private key is valid and correct one. --> Yes, able to do login using the key from OS level (between the hosts)
But still the issue persists .Kindly advice
