cannt add Cloudera management service due to external database host

New Contributor

Hi ,

I have a small uat cluster (5.10.1), where i have 1 master and two computes. On Master I have setup external database as describes in path B of the installation guide.

However, when i try to add the management service, its doesn't let me assign roles to any host and directly goes to the database connection step. in tht step it takes the address of a compute node by default and even if i provice the address of the master node (where database is running) it ignores the master.

Is the CM sourcing the value of database host from somewhere and can i modify it ?

Thanks,

Rags
