distcp error

Hi when i try to move data using the distp command i get

ERROR tools.DistCp: Exception encountered

org.apache.hadoop.ipc.RemoteException(org.apache.hadoop.ipc.StandbyException): Operation category READ is not supported in state standby

anyone encountered the same issue and resolved?

@intelia_liem this error generally occurs when you request go to standby namenode and is generally not a cause of concern in HA setup. However if your job fails, please review the distcp command and use nameservice or active namenode for the requests.
