hbase log size policy?

I see logsize going a way beyond limit, especially in the case of errors...

Does the policy needs to be changed from DailyRollingFileAppender to RollingFileAppender, as in the case with HDFS in the article below?

Yes, You can update the appender to 'RollingFileAppender' to make the log file roll more frequent than daily.
