hi, i am able to list the databases but i am unable to import a table from database i have given query like this sqoop import jdbe:sqlserver;//xxx.xxx.xx.xx:1433/sample --table TEST--username uname --password pwd -m 1 iam getting the error

@omkar pathallapalli I'm assuming "sample" is a database name. You do not specify the database name after the port number. Here is an example sqoop command that pulls a table from the AdventureWorks database.

sqoop import --connect "jdbc:sqlserver://192.168.56.101:1433;database=AdventureWorksDW2014;username=hadoop;password=hadoop" --table DimCustomer --hive-import
