hive CLI session throwing warnings

Guru

We recently upgraded to hdp 2.6 from 2.3.4, and in this new version 2.6 when starting hive from cli then getting following warning.

[m1.hdp22]$ hive

2017-06-01 11:19:49,687 WARN [main] conf.HiveConf: HiveConf of name hive.server2.enable.impersonation does not exist

2017-06-01 11:19:49,688 WARN [main] conf.HiveConf: HiveConf of name hive.server2.http.port does not exist

log4j:WARN No such property [maxFileSize] in org.apache.log4j.DailyRollingFileAppender.

Logging initialized using configuration in file:/etc/hive/2.6.0.3-8/0/hive-log4j.properties

I know we can safely ignored these warning but I want to get rid off these warn. So can someone please help me.

@Saurabh

This is a known issue with Hive and Ambari:

Refer to the attached links:-

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-8730

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-4356

Can you check your hive configuration in ambari for the property hive.server2.enable.impersonation and remove the same?
