Good day,

I have installed the HDP 3.0 Sandbox to start playing with Hortonworks. As I am a Business Analyst I am mostly interested in the dAta Analytics tool. But everytime when I try to open it, Iget the error message Cannot find server. In Ambari everything is up and running.

Ideas?

This seems to be a setup issue. Can you confirm that you can access the following URLs:
http://sandbox-hdp.hortonworks.com:4200
http://sandbox-hdp.hortonworks.com:1080
http://sandbox-hdp.hortonworks.com:8080

If not, please review Learning the Ropes of the HDP Sandbox, Environment Setup

Which flavor of the Sandbox are you using (i.e VirtualBox, VMWare, Docker)?
Did you meet the 10GB RAM dedicated to virtual machine?

I'm getting the same problem. I set 12 cores and 32 GB of RAM to my sandbox and I can't access any of those websites that are linked nor the one mentioned in the problem. Oh and I am running Oracle VM Virtual Box Manager with Hortonwork Sandbox HDP 3.0.

I ran into the same issue. I installed following the instructions both docker hdf and hdp images. then configured cda. i can get to both ambari admin pages. And the links above work. Ambari shows DAS as running but i cannot get to the ui.
