bash-4.2$ls -lh /tmp
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 Jun  2 13:20 /tmp -> /mnt/tmp

/mnt has enough space:
/dev/dev1 195G 3.7G 192G 2% /mnt

I get error when creating directory /tmp:

bash-4.2$ mkdir /tmp/hadoop/mapred/staging/1

mkdir: cannot create directory '/tmp/hadoop/mapred/staging/1': Permission denied
