We don't provide Spark on Windows anymore. The last Spark on Windows was 1.3.1 with HDP 2.2.x

from the release notes (https://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP2/HDP-2.3.4/bk_HDP_RelNotes/content/ch_relnotes_v234.ht...
Apache Spark 1.5.2 version is supported on HDP 2.3.4. Does that mean i just need to manually install it to my standalone hdp 2.3.4 machine?

Why no Spark support on Windows anymore? 1.3.1 feels like the stone age. As is HDP 2.2.x BTW.

Please see Vinay comments and accept his answer if it makes sense.
We don't support it but you can install it if you like for your use case.
