Klaus,   Images posted to the community go through moderation before being widely viewable. I looked into the images from your previous posts and discovered it was my own error that deleted the images. That is correct, 6GB should be fine for CDH but you stated that you are trying to install Cloudera Manager. That moves you up to the Cloudera Express or Cloudera Enterprise requirements of 8GB and 10+GB of RAM.  ... View more

Hi Klaus,   Looks to me like it has to do with the RAM allocated to the VM. Below are the requirements that can be found on the QuickStart VM download page. I hope this helps.   Prerequisites These 64-bit VMs require a 64-bit host OS and a virtualization product that can support a 64-bit guest OS.
