Hue will blindly call [hadoop] [[hdfs_clusters]] [[[default]]] webhdfs_url=http://localhost:50070/webhdfs/v1 So, how about you put localhost there?

Probably the earlier problem was related to the MySQL not been accessible over the network. The security group setting had the correct setting, but something else was preventing mySQL from talking to the they Hue installation. we tried to re-install Hue. after that, we didn't see error messages. and we can login Hue. thank you.

You can look at https://issues.cloudera.org/browse/HUE-3284 This will be much better than importing jobs, as they could be just linked to the saved query or job, e.g. http://gethue.com/drag-drop-saved-hive-queries-into-your-workflows/ Romain

I was using C5.7.0, thinking it was the latest. Upgrade to C5.7.2 fixes the problem.

I would recommend to look at the commits of the Search app: https://github.com/cloudera/hue/tree/master/apps/search/src/search And a presentation http://gethue.com/presentation-solr-lucene-revolution-interactively-search-and-visualize-your-big-data/ But this is mostly DIY currently. Romain

Hi Romain, Even after sharing the created dashboard on one of the existing indexes, it is not visible to shared users as per the video(Hue is LDAP integrated). Any comments? Thanks Pravdeep
