Hi , That step is the creation of the ssh key I highly advice you to do that step even if you are doing it on a single node. Do you intend to use a derby database or MySQL for Ambari oozie and hive I recommend the latter? if if so let me know to simplify your installation. Tell me the HDP and Ambari version

@Amit Sharma Those commands I gave are for CentOS 6 for your output your are either running CenOS7 or Redhat7 . Nice to know your issue was resolved . Always give the OS,Ambari,HDP or component release to make it easire for the forum to help

@Wellington De Oliveira The /usr directory is the default install Confirm that .jar is in the Java share directory. Make sure the .jar file has the appropriate permissions - 644. [root@ambarihost ~]# ls –al /usr/share/java/mysql-connector-java.jar
