Unfortunately there is no early-release version that can be handed out at present. Please check back with Cloudera Manager 5.4 which should out in Q2 2015. Is there anything specific about RHEL 6.6 that prevents you from using 6.5?

The kdc is listed as "mgmt4-ib" but error message is mentioning mgmt4-ib.urika-xa.com. Can you ensure you can connect to the KDC from the CM host? (ping, "listprincs" within kadmin etc). Is forward and reverse dns working correctly?

Could you try again using Red Hat 6.4 or Cent OS 6.4 and see if the same issue occurs? Also like David asked, please tell us which AMI you used and in which AWS region this is on.

The officially supported alternative for you would be the Path C install (tarballs). RPM however does support the --relocate option however we have not tested the CDH/CM packages with this, so cannot recommend you use it.

Port numbers larger than 32765 (ephemeral ports) can be in use at any time. It is possible another process is holding the port. This should tell you the PID that holds the port. That should help decide next steps # netstat -nap | grep 60030
