The link I had posted above has procedures to upgrade both CM and CDH. Do you have a question that's not answered in the documentation in that link?

Hi all, afte rrestarting all nodes vm (I shutdown the cluster before), I got the same problem. For moment I started again cloudera management service, and for all services I got this error mismatched cdh versions host has none but role expects 5 I'm really scared since I don't have any idea why it comes, do you know what I can check or do to resolve it? any help would be reatly appreciated! THANKS a lot cmmunity!

The filesystem /var/run/cloudera-scm-agent/process is RAM-only. If you want Cloudera Manager and CDH to use /disk1 now, you should edit the service properties and switch the properties that write to /opt and /var to use /disk1. There's no clean way to do this unfortunately, has to be a per-service basis.

I have options to add another directory but I don't know if that will skip default setting or still I will need to change default.

Since the cluster is relatively large, for mgmt roles you can start with 2GB heap and tune upwards if required. This is just an estimate though. Regarding the JT health alert, please start a new thread in the Cloudera Manager forum.
