@Emanuel_MXN Welcome to Cloudera Community. Thank you for bringing our attention on this. To help you better, Please clarify: 1. Did you run security scan and identified this CVE on the any of the CDH/CDP Versions? If yes, Please share the name of the tool and the testing result, redacting any sensitive information. Meantime, I had a chance to review this internally and could not find any relevant information at the moment. I will keep my progress updated here. V

Hello @nymikek Thank you for using our Community! we are looking for a documentation for Hive BDR automation (CDH 5.16.1) https://docs.cloudera.com/documentation/enterprise/latest/topics/cm_bdr_howto_api.html I understand that you would like to use API to automate BDR schedule(Hive). You can use the fore-mentioned HDFS replication doc as a reference to create a Hive replication. However, I am pointing out the specific Hive Replication API endpoint/Arguments for this use-case. STEP 1: Creating a Peer https://docs.cloudera.com/documentation/enterprise/latest/topics/cm_bdr_howto_api.html#bdr_api_1 STEP 2: Make use of the ApiReplicationSchedule DataModel that has the Arguments needed for building-blocks of a Replication Schedule. https://archive.cloudera.com/cm6/6.3.4/generic/jar/cm_api/apidocs/json_ApiReplicationSchedule.html STEP 3: Since the end-goal here is to automate Hive replication. http://cloudera.github.io/cm_api/apidocs/v19/ns0_apiHiveReplicationArguments.html I hope this helps! - V

@caicai Appreciate your swift response. Thank you for trying it out! As I highlighted earlier, Effective January 31, 2021, all Cloudera software requires a valid subscription to that software in order to access it. This includes all legacy versions of Cloudera products, including Apache Hadoop (CDH), Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP), Data Flow (HDF/CDF), and Cloudera Data Science Workbench (CDSW). Information regarding software access is available in technical documentation by software type and version. To download any fore-mentioned platform binaries, you need an active Cloudera subscription, Please read further: https://www.cloudera.com/downloads/paywall-expansion.html If you are interested in purchasing a subscription, please contact sales. Else, I encourage you exploring our 60-Day Free CDP Private Cloud - Trial Product https://www.cloudera.com/downloads/cdp-private-cloud-trial.html I hope this helps! V
