root.bt.user1 (here the leaf queue is user1) , yes we can disable the leaf queue. Option will be available in ranger (Since you are using ranger)

@Ilia K I guess using "--queue iliak" is the only way to run the app in that leaf queue. Also note that we cannot create multiple hierarchy with same queue name like below. user1 can be defined only once.

keyatab should be owned by the owner, If that keytab belongs to your user. you should have read permissions. Pls check more on this with your system admins.

Then there is some issue with the keytab. In the second attempt a password was provided instead of keytab. Please check if its a valid keytab and make the kinit command. Then you can use the same in phoenix connection.

@Sami Ahmad Looks like there is problem with your keytab/principal. Caused by: java.io.IOException: Login failure for kn857sa@XXXXXX.US from keytab /etc/krb5.keytab: javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: Unable to obtain password from user
Can you try doing kinit as below and see if it executes successfully: kinit -kt /etc/krb5.keytab kn857sa@XXXXXX.US

Do you see the <app-id>.inprogress files or the actual <app-id> files after applying the mentioned configs?is yes, trying filtering this files and check if you have any file older than 1 day. Also anything in spark history server logs?
