@Anshul Sisodia
In YARN HA, the property "yarn.resourcemanager.address" is redundant and instead "yarn.resourcemanager.address.X" is the one which is used. . 1.) Ambari UI for YARN, shows only the property -
yarn.resourcemanager.address
And it uses port 8050 by default. . 2.) In YARN UI, for the yarn configuration, the property is :
yarn.resourcemanager.address.X
yarn.resourcemanager.address.Y
and they are using port 8032 by default. . Ambari UI does not explicitly shows "yarn.resourcemanager.address.X" or "yarn.resourcemanager.address.Y", rather only shows "yarn.resourcemanager.address". . In case if the requirement is to use a different port for the YARN HA ( other than 8032 ), then we can add "yarn.resourcemanager.address.X" and "yarn.resourcemanager.address.Y" in Ambari UI for customer yarn configuration. . Hope this information helps! Happy Hadooping 🙂

@Amrita Das Can you please check on your resource manager UI if all the nodemanagers are up and in healthy state? First login to Ambari UI and check if your YARN services are up and running fine then check above thing on resource manager UI. Please check below url for related issue: https://community.hortonworks.com/questions/27334/mapreduce-job-hang-waiting-for-am-container-to-be.html Hope this information helps!

@Ramachandra Sedimbi Desktop is not available in HDP Sandbox by default. You can directly connect to Ambari UI by hitting http://127.0.0.1:8080 from your local machine's browser. If you want to install Desktop you can do it using installing gnome packages or VNC. Please refer below URL's For Gnome installation - http://www.idevelopment.info/data/Unix/Linux/LINUX_AddGNOMEToCentOSMinimalInstall.shtml For VNC installation - https://github.com/hortonworks-gallery/ambari-vnc-service#connect-to-vnc-server Hope this information helps! Happy Hadooping 🙂

@omkar pathallapalli - You are getting class not found exception for com.yammer.metrics.core.MetricsRegistry For this, you should include hadoop-common-<version>.jar file in your oozie-workflow.xml You can also check if oozie sharelib has this class or not, if not then please add it in sharelib and update the sharelib using below command oozie admin -oozie http://<oozie-server>:11000/oozie -sharelibupdate Please run above command as oozie user on oozie host.
