@Mahan Hosseinzadeh Zeppelin works with spark streaming but I don't think Kafka is supported yet. I see no reference of kafka in git code ..link

@isml smile I am afraid that you may have a bigger problem. Verify the repo files and make sure that you are using the correct binaries i,e no mismatch with OS. I am sure you are follow this

@isml smile You can try this /usr/bin/hdp-select [root@phdns01 ~]# rpm -qa | grep hdp-select hdp-select-2.3.4.0-3276.el6.noarch [root@phdns01 ~]# yum install hdp-select*

@luc tiber I am guessing that it's non ambari install. Good thread namenode clusterID =**CID-8e09ff25-80fb-4834-878b-f23b3deb62d0**; datanode clusterID =**CID-cd85e59a-ed4a-4516-b2ef-67e213cfa2a1** You can see this for detail on version file location Resolution: As it's new cluster so we can reformat the namenode as discussed here thread

@Kyle Pifer I just did the same exercise in my cluster and I see this http://pastebin.com/008iBDuw Wait for sometime and see whats coming in ... restart agents , ambari and run tail -f /var/log/ambari-server/ambari-server.log
