@Pradeep kumar See this ..When you click Host and you will see these value. You install them in edge node "We dont need to install clients in all the nodes" Its like sqlplus in oracle or mysql in mysql server. If you want to launch beeline then you type beeline pig , hive and so on

@riyer I'd avoid going against HBase with Hive. Generating a snapshot is so trivial that you should consider going that route first. On average, going against a snapshot should be 2.5x times better than going against HBase directly.
