AFAIK by Default It uses embedded graph DB database called Titan over a storage DB i.e BerkeleyDB and for indexing it has ElasticSearch in embedded mode. What exactly you want to access?

@Roberto Sancho I remember one bug in compaction if data load done through dynamic partition then metastore doesn't trigger compactor for that table/partition. However it should be fixed in 2.4 but just wanted to check if this is the case?

I think this is something related to agent package install timeout, You can try to increase this value in ambari using below parameter if you have low bandwith internet. vi /etc/ambari-server/conf/ambari.properties agent.package.install.task.timeout=5000
