@suresh krish Looks like you have enabled HTTPs for Grafana UI access which is not configured properly. Please refer to the following article that explains how to properly configure the HTTPs for Grafana: https://community.hortonworks.com/articles/85365/enable-ssl-for-grafana.html Basically you are getting the following error : private key does not match public key Which means you have not imported the certificates properly. May be recreating the ssl certificates will be easier and quick approach to fix this issue. .

-rw-r--r--. 1 yarn hadoop 17941 Nov 25 10:27 yarn-site.xml . So may be you are looking on an incorrect host. Please check if any HDP component is running on that host or not like following , (this is just to verify the hdp installation): # ps -ef | grep DataNode
# ps -ef | grep NameNode
# hdp-select . If you want to download the "core-site.xml" and "hdfs-site.xml" for client side usage then it is an easiest option to download the client config from ambari UI. Ambari UI --> "HDFS" --> "Service Action" --> "Download Client Configs"
### That will give you the following downloaded files:
core-site.xml hadoop-env.sh hdfs-site.xml log4j.properties .

You have upgraded the PostgresSQL to 9.3, But do you see that the "ambari" DB still exist there?
Please check if you see the Ambari DB Tables there? # psql -U ambari ambari
Password for user ambari: bigdata
psql (9.5.5)
Type "help" for help.
ambari=> \dt+ If the Postgres SQL 9.3 has the ambari DB (upgraded from Postgres SQL 8.1) then you shoudl see all the existing tables and data.
Now If the postgressql hostname or port is changed during upgrade then you shoudl run the "smbari-server setup" again and this time you should choose the "" option and say "y" Enter advanced database configuration [y/n] (n)? y
And then choose the hostname & port properly and do nto use the "[1] - PostgreSQL (Embedded)" option while setup else ambari will try to reinitialize the DB and as the Ambari DB already exist so it might cause issues. You should choose Option [4] - PostgreSQL
Example: (Before doing the ambari-server setup again Please take Ambari DB dump and keep safely)
# ambari-server setup
Using python /usr/bin/python
Setup ambari-server
Checking SELinux...
SELinux status is 'enabled'

Can you try putting the URL inside Quotation Mark? As the URL consist of (&) Example: curl -u admin:admin -H "X-Requested-By:ambari" -X GET "http://172.26.102.21:8080/api/v1/clusters/hdp234/host_components?HostRoles/stale_configs=false&fields=HostRoles/service_name

@ed day You can find the repo links here: https://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari-2.5.0.3/bk_ambari-installation/content/hdp_26_repositories.html When you do "wget" then please also include the File Name (hdp.list) in the URL else it wont find it. Example: wget -nv http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP/ubuntu14/2.x/updates/2.6.0.3/hdp.list . Also Ubuntu 12 is not listed in the supported config anymore for HDP2.6:: http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP2/HDP-2.6.0/bk_support-matrices/content/ch_matrices-hdp.html

Ambari Agent can be installed on that node as well without any issue. What i mean to say there is that "We need to check that no other version of "ambari-agent" RPM is installed on that host.

@saravanan gopalsamy Few things to check on the problematic host: 1. Are you able to do password less ssh to the localhost? Or the host where the agent installation is failing? ssh root@ambari.sierra.com
ssh root@localhost
2. Check the permission of the ssk keys on the mentioned host.Should be 600 for authorized keys: # ls -l ~/.ssh/
total 16
-rw-------. 1 root root 412 Aug 18 2016 authorized_keys
-rw-------. 1 root root 1675 Feb 13 04:01 id_rsa
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 404 Feb 13 04:01 id_rsa.pub
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 826 Feb 13 04:01 known_hosts
[root@erie1 ambari-server]# ls -l ~/.ssh/authorized_keys
-rw-------. 1 root root 412 Aug 18 2016 /root/.ssh/authorized_keys 3. Verify that there is no ambari agent RPM is not already installed on the mentioned host rpm -qa | grep ambari
If nothing works then at the end try creating the SSK keys again on the "ambari.sierra.com" again
OR
try installing ambari agent on that problematic host manually. http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari-2.5.0.3/bk_ambari-administration/content/ch_amb_ref_installing_ambari_agents_manually.html .
